I loved this cozy tutorial! And I can't wait for the new tier and the challenges! Also I just wanted to share something regarding the negative self talk. We tend to be really harsh and really mean to ourselves, but what we tell ourselves is not something that we would tell someone else who was in the same situation as us. Maybe we all know this already. But think about it like this: would you tell a 5 year old who is struggling to draw what you tell yourself when you are trying to draw? No? Good. Let's go a step further: would you tell your 5 year old all the mean things that you tell your adults self? Hopefully not. So instead of thinking of your voice inside as a different persona, you can also think that your voice inside is talking to your 5 year old self. You might think twice about wanting to hurt a kid's feelings. This trick helped me a lot, hope it will help someone else too!

You should consider SEO and unique-ness as well as location - a .nl domain might push you further down search results than someone with a .com or .art domain. If you're more well known by your instagram handle then people searching "theartfish" should find both your insta and your website. It is indeed a difficult choice and I contradict my own advice (my site is alisondesign.it, like 'Alison Design it') but plenty of well known artists have a handle they are known by and people still know their real name!

Hey Lois, Thank you for your wonderful tutorial as always. I love hearing you do it compared to reading it in your artbook! I have a question regarding getting a domain name. I cannot choose wether my domain name should be my name (denicevis.art) or my "persona" I have on Instagram (theartfish.nl). I mainly want people to both recognise my name as well as my persona, but I don't know what to do because it feels like such a heavy choice to make. Do you have any tips about choosing one?

this tutorial has been so good for me! came at the really right time as I am struggling with finding things to draw and felt a bit lost. I loved all the exercises and will try to integrate them in a routine. I also look forward for the new tier to be available! I will definitely join that!
