Loish

thanks! I'm excited to get started on those.

Elou Carroll

The two black and white pieces are stunning, would love to see them finished

Loish

yep, that's almost always my struggle.

Loish

thanks for your feedback emily! reading this is giving me tons of motivation to finish them :)

Loish

i usually do some browsing around on pinterest and google, trying to find some images that inspire me. the top ones are inspired by images of very thick and dark smoke that is obscuring the sun!

Marion Balsaux

love the second and last!

prassy

First one

Caitlin Bell

First or last!

Lesha Prasad

Oh wow! It kinda looks like the beginning of a new era (style wise) - The landscapes look finished! Crisp and beautiful ^-^

Mimi

The second one! It looks like there’s fire coming from her hands 🔥

Tomara Maitra

That first character's eyes and the darkness, I love it. That waterfall also pulled me in...

Tyler

I love your previous dark themed characters! I would love to see the second character or the waterfall painted

Donald McGrath

The first two would be great as a Diptych! That said the one about skaters against that totally impressive cloud backdrop could be so cool!!!'

Ashley

number one on the left! :)

ArtLover69

They're all great but I'm excited to see how the second one with the ice skaters evolves in your style. 🥰

Keith Ward

I like the first one...specifically the one on the left! The angle of the figure really speaks to me.

Gary Brimer

The combination of golden yellow over the gray tones has somehow achieved a cold yellow and I think that’s absolutely worth exploring. If there were a way to combine the other two THAT would be very exciting, as the ice-cloud-skating is very grand and adventurous, while the waterfall is intimate and relaxing. Perhaps the characters from the ice skating are present in both somehow?

Nick Miulli

I love the light and looseness of third one as is! So I’ll choose the first one! 😁

Blackdraws

The second on on the right looks interesting!! How do you find ideas for digital paintings like the first two?

jendy

they all are awesome but first one has something you can't take your eyes from it

Niquey

Number 2 is my favorite. I prefer the contrast there.

Emilia

The first one! It looks different than usual:)

Zack Huffman

Number one on the left. It feels slightly different for you, which is cool! Would be very intrigued to see how it comes out.

Niki

The first one looks super intriguing!!!

Elsi A

First one looks so super cool!

Dan Genovesi

I like the dynamic angle of the drawing on the right.

Emily Cartier

The first one feels like it would be a challenge, it feels dark and lower key than you typically do. So I’d be quite interested to see how it turns out! The second feels like the most typical for you out of this set, I think you have multiple pieces with a similar pose and similar lighting. But this one feels… smoky? A kind of dark queen vibe maybe? Three feels like it’s snuggling in with several recent pieces, kind of staking out a distinctively Lois sort of environmental vibe. Four is SO GLOWY I feel very drawn to it. But none of these are things where I’d be sad to see them finished.

Sometimes I love the thumbnail versions more than the finalized versions ❄️

Loish

thank you! when I set my mind to it, I can usually generate quite a lot of ideas in a short time. but when I'm busy with other things, I find it difficult to come up with new stuff. that's why I'm spending a lot of time doing focused idea generation sessions, so that I can just finish & render them later on without having to think too much!

AméAmé.art

All are amazing ! I like the yellow eyes mood <3 Is it difficult to you to find drawing ideas ?

Flow.Illustration

Number 3 :)
