🕑 Added 2022-03-03 11:01:18 +0000 UTCHey lovely patrons! Just like in January, I’ve been working on some rough setups for some digital paintings that I hope to finalize soon! I’ve been wanting to make an icy environment piece and also something with water. Which one do you like the most?
I aso made a little bit of progress on the cloud painting that I posted earlier this year! I am trying to make the clouds to look super fluffy and like they’re being illuminated by some bright sunlight. It’s a challenge with clouds, since sometimes the way they’re lit is counter intuitive to how I expect them to be! And I can also get easily carried away with blending them. But so far it’s been going okay with the lasso & gradient as my main tools. I’ll be chipping away at these slowly in the coming weeks!

Woow! I love all of them but the first one makes me want to know what happens next!

thanks sarah! I'm very close to finishing that one actually! will post it soon :)
Sarah Martinsen
All of them would be incredible. The last two are the most captivating for me. The rendered cloud-focused one might be my overall favorite.
Marion Balsaux
third one looks amazing!
Iridescent
The first one is so pretty! But the second one has me intrigued.. what is under the water, in the shadows? They're all great
Niquey
The first one is my favorite~

Me encantan los 4!!!😍 Si tuviera que elegir uno..🤔, me encanta la perspectiva que tiene el tercero, invita a sumergirte en la obra y los colores son increibles!!!
Tina Kavčič
I love the first one, the texture and color variations make it look complex even if it just a sketch. I also like the layering of shapes underwater, I'm already kinda excited to see it finished :)
Loish
i get what you mean! i feel like adding an element of fantasy is what elevates something beyond just a study or environment.
Loish
thanks! i think that will be my favorite color combination forever.
Corinna
I love the first one😍
Loish
thanks! I usually just browse through some reference images to see if there's anything that sparks an idea. then I'll gather a mix of different images and put together my own painting from there!
Jehan Khonat
Woah, I love the vibrancy!

First and Third. I think I lean towards #3 since I love how cracks in ice look and I love the exaggerated horizon.
Fabio De Nittis
I really love the first and the 3rd! But if I have to choose, I’d say the first one!
Caitlin Bell
Love the 2nd, great concept
Greg Schultz
Number 1, definitely. What a great 3-d concept! Let's hope she doesn't fall through the ice. Mysteries below.
Sam Patterson
Love the 3rd; very cinematic with a sense of motion, like you are being drawn in.

These are all gorgeous! I love the textures on the 1st and the perspective of the 2nd, but the 4th just feels so romantic to me that I think it's my pick!
Niki
The third one is just wonderful! I would love to see it finalized!

I love the first one. But I wonder, where do you find all these beautiful ideas ?
Keith Ward
I do like all of them but the second one really stands out for me. I can't say exactly why but something about it (I think the composition but I'm not sure) really works for me.
Rebecca Henry
Love them all but the first one is the one I find most visually interesting lol. Which do you like best?
Adelle Gough
Pancake ice! 😍
Kat Craig
Loooove the first one! The colors are gorgeous! Which one is your favorite? :)
Rachel Greaner
The first and third one are amazing! I love the colors and how much visual interest there is throughout the pieces.
Rebeka
They are gorgeous! I want to hang them on the wall already even if they are wips 😍

I'm most excited to see 3rd and 2nd get finished.
Anni Tendo
These are so beautiful I love the colours and the dynamic shapes, I can’t wait how they turn out
Lynn Zammit Russell
All of them are beautiful! My favourites are the 1st and 3rd, the composition and colour palette with the blue and pink really stand out to me.
Emily Cartier
The first one makes me smile. The second one has a great mermaid vibe and feels like a merge of your mermaid portraits and your water environments. The third one, the third one feels like a video game I want to play. The fourth one feels very romantic somehow, but also cold and snowy.
Ewa
These are all so dynamic and full of life! I'd love to see how you progress with the two icy pieces - the first being my personal favourite; that effect beneath the ice looks fascinating! <3
PersePhinnie
The first and third one are freaking gorgeous!!😱💗 i'd love to see those two developed more !
Tholia
They all look great, but if I have to pick one, I would choose the first one. It spreads something spectacular, because of the composition and color palette. That pinky hues in contrast with the ambiant blue is so beautiful and mesmerizing. Also it's like the ice is floating, and it reminds a lot of your creative works, while the other thumbnails could almost be "simple" (it's not, obviously, don't get me wrong ^^) landscape studies.
Babett
They all looking beautiful. But I prefer the first most. 😍
Lalitha
Omg these are stunning🤩
