Loish

thanks for your comment! i haven't posted in one in a while so i think it's about time i get back to sharing more phone recordings :)

SK

I really really love watching the phone recordings of your drawings. There’s just so much to learn when you watch people paint that can’t be captured in digital screen recordings. Would love to see more of these types of videos!

Hi Loish!, Thank you so much for all your tutorials and tips. I don't know if you have answered this before, but I was wondering what your setup for recording reels looks like. How do you record so that it does not get in your way? Also, do you record the entire process? If not, how do you pick the sections to record?

Marie

thank you for your reply!!☺️

Loish

thanks so much for backing the kickstarter! I'm glad you like the book :) as for your question.. i have max storage on my phone, but I also think icloud offloads stuff into the cloud so that there's more local storage when I film.

Marie

omg! how does your phone have enough storage to record so long? also i received your signed kickstarter book yesterday and im in love! :)

Loish

hey matija! I have info about that on my FAQ, but I am thinking of doing a studio tour this month with some info about my setup and tools. for now, you can find the FAQ here: https://loish.net/faq/#tools

Matija

Beautiful! 😍🍀 Unrelated: do you describe your art equipment somewhere?

Loish

hey samantha! you can do a similar thing by using the lasso tool for the shape and then switching to a soft brush to mimic the gradient tool. sadly procreate does not have a gradient tool at the moment!

Samantha

Hello! :) Is there a way to do the lasso tool + gradient color technique on new created shapes in Procreate? I watched your other Procreate process video in your tutorials but didn’t see one. It seems so effortless in photoshop!

Loish

thank you! i think the reckless abandon of knowing i can paint over them later always helps me, haha.

Rob Callicotte

Intentional lines that are beautiful. How is this even feasible?

Loish

thanks greg!

Always a pleasure to watch you work. Learned some good things about erasing and reworking.
