🕑 Added 2024-04-06 20:12:32 +0000 UTCHere is the recording of this month’s delayed Q&A session! Thank you so much to everyone who showed up even though it was moved at the last minute. It was such a nice way to spend this lovely spring evening :)
Some of the topics covered in this session are:
Tips for settling down in Utrecht / The Netherlands
Commissions: how to commission an artist and split the process into phases
Taking breaks from drawing, and whether they cause you to be ‘behind’ in your artistic growth
Client work: how to send your work and the added value of working in the industry
Insuring body parts
The feud between Mariah Carey and J-Lo
The difference between the art I make and the art I like to look at (especially in terms of aesthetics)
Adapting my style for sequential art
I hope you enjoy this session! If you have any questions for next month’s session, which is already taking place on the 22nd of April, head on over to the #ask-loish channel in the discord and post it there! ❤

ugh I'm so sorry to hear that. sadly it happens a lot. it's important to have some legal counsel insurance as well to fight their decision on things like this.

I'm so glad you like it Vivi!

that is a really important and valid priority! it's good that you're aware of what you need from this kind of art practice.

I love watching these videos while I am drawing, they are fun. This Patreon is the best thing I've ever found on the internet. Thanks Loish!!

Thank you for answering my question about unsolicited art feedback, Lois! Now that I am finished with art school and professionally established, one of my personal priorities right now if learning to enjoy art again, just as I did when I was a kid.
