🕑 Added 2024-04-11 13:20:55 +0000 UTCI’ve been so inspired by the art of Egon Schiele lately. I wanted to make some studies that specifically explored the ways he used color and skintone variation in his watercolor portraits. I really enjoyed it! I feel like it’s really changing my way of studying anatomy and facial structures.

Love this, the vibrancy of the red against more muted tones brings so much life into the studies. While the blocks of colour exaggerate the shapes & planes of anatomy… feels very modern.
