Update 0.71 - Shoichi ("bad" path)

I apologize for the two and a half day delay. I've been trying to get everything done, having planned to finish the writing for the update around the 21st or so of last month, but I struggled to properly balance such a sensitive topic given where his previous update ended if you got the bad path. It's not something that can be handled in a careless manner, so I made sure to get lots of feedback to try and broach the subject as tactfully as possible.
Now, this update isn't all doom and gloom though. I might be biased, but I think it's a worthwhile read. And as always, I tend to sprinkle every path with some nuggets of insight into the characters that can change how you see their interactions in other routes. This one has one such revelation, a pretty big one. I think you guys will either really appreciate it or really hate it, depending on what your opinion of our MC is. So, really, I think it's worth playing it even if you're not a huge fan of the "bad" path. I really did put a lot of effort into it to make it worthwhile.
Either way, here's the update. And a big thanks to Devilizer from Stormsinger Studio (devs of Santa Lucia and Morenatsu Homecoming). I was literally working into the wee hours of the morning every day for the last week and a half (it's literally 4:30AM here right now) and he offered to help with some expression work on Shoichi's sprite so I didn't have to wait until tomorrow to ask Nyaruh to do it for me. He's a real good friend, so check out Stormsinger's work if you guys haven't already!

Small graphical tweaks to a specific scene in Jun's route right after the big "event" that happens on day 26. Yes, it's random, but I was struggling to write that day and wanted to stay productive, so I decided to optimize some old code.

Wow.... this update was really amazing. Your writing has always been great at making the emotion of a scene come through, and boy did this update hit hard. I'll admit I had been skeptical about the need for Shoichi's "bad" route, but this update definitely flipped my opinion. Both the scene with the certain person at school, and the later scene with Shoichi, are, I think, some of the best in all of Tennis Ace. Really great work.

Honestly, I think the quite frank conversation at the school has really made me see that helpful character in a much more positive light (although that might just be because we haven't had many scenes with them being a focus character), even if they did say that Yuu's actions weren't "healty"

Again, this is an update to Shoichi's previously unupdated path. If you're getting Takehiko confronting Shoichi, you're on the path that DID get updated last time. This update picks up from the path where Shoichi didn't make up with his mom and you didn't ask Saya for relationship advice, leading to Shoichi taking his advances too far.

It's been fixed, thank you for reporting. There was a single line of code in this update that would run fine in Renpy's built-in Android emulator but not on actual Android. You can redownload and install the update now.
