Since this series is going on break, I figure it’s fine to help a bit now. Over-producing power doesn’t break your wires: the excess power just kind of wastefully disappears. Overloaded wires are caused by overconsumption, like if a network is trying to use over 1000W of power, but the wires are only rated for 1000W.

Just a small question wouldn't it be better to store gasses in series? Like Gas imput > gas tank > gas tank > usage?

A gas (or liquid) filter only draws power when something is going out of its yellow output. Good luck on the rest of your colony recovery! You're making some positive steps, but there is a bunch of stuff left to do!
