Beautiful big areola on Annette, Ricky. Which brings me to thoughts on the plural of areola. The dictionary says you can write it areolas, or areolae or even areoli. I have noticed that most people use the singular noun for the plural also. Much like deer and, uh, deer... ha ha ha. So the colloquialism is areola singular and plural. Then again, areola, as far as I know, always come in pairs, so it makes sense to use areola as the singular and plural description. (Is there any animal that has only one tit?) I can see where, in a clinical situation a doctor would wish to talk about one areola in specific, but that is not the common usage. I love my areola. In fact, I love boys areoli, too! I think they are even more sensitive than mine, at least I have found that to be true when I tweak one. Kisses.. Muse
