Forever Together 1.4 - Update (Early Access) 💥

Since I introduced the possibility to have a different Partner for each character, you'll need to start over if you are updating from an older version.
You have to delete your old save file: Dealien_ForeverTogether.sav in your scripts folder before starting the game.
In this update:
It is now possible to have a different Partner for each character (Michael, Franklin, Trevor and Custom) - Many of you asked for this -
You can now create your own custom freemodel Partner!!!
Anything goes, using a super cool character creator menu. - Took me forever to do it -
With this model, you can also change the clothes/accessories whenever you want by choosing the option in the "Do...." submenu and the Partner will also undress when in water or taking a showerPossibility to toggle on/off Partner's Permadeath in the settings file. If turned off the Partner will be taken to the closest hospital and will be available again after a cooldown (also changeable in the settings file) - Many of you asked for this -
Improved and reworked home activities in stilt houses and some interiors while using my other mod "Apts & Houses (and more)". This was tricky as normal peds can't tend to get stuck or walk in strange directions while inside certain interiors
It is now possible to disable/enable the use of heavy weapons like RPG, Minigun and Grenade Launcher by the Partner. You find the option in the in-game menu settings
You can now tell the Partner to go slower or faster while he/she is driving or piloting (remember that the driving style changes with the Partner's personality)
Buffed up Minigun firing rate (now a "Calm" Partner with a minigun is a beast)
Adjusted and improved dancing animations and made compatible with the latest version of Roleplay Menu
Fixed a lot of bugs and imperfections
Remember to use the latest nightly build of ScriptHookVDotNet and to change the settings of its config file "ScriptHookVDotNet.ini" in your main GTAV folder:
- ScriptTimeoutThreshold=60000And if you don't want the warning message at the start:
- WarnOfDeprecatedScriptsWithTicker=false

Hi, thanks and welcome! It's probably because the script is trying to load some missing assets. If you have other third-party mods (maybe clothings?) try to temporarily remove them and see if the problem get solved.

Hi, ( just answered to your other comment :) ) I'm planning to continously update most of my mods, this one as well. The option to change clothes is only for the MP models but I think I will add something for the regular peds as well. Of course they will not take off their clothes when showering etc.. as they don't have the same clothing freedom as the MP models. Thanks again, very glad to hear you like my mods!

Hey new supporter. Quick question: 1) Last update was July. Are there more planned updates for this mod? 2) In the description above you stated: "With this model, you can also change the clothes/accessories whenever you want by choosing the option in the "Do...." submenu and the Partner will also undress when in water or taking a shower" Does the option to change the clothes/accessories only work if you "create" a partner versus choosing one off the street? I tried choosing a random PED off the street and I do not see any option under "Do..." to change their outfit. Thanks for the mod! Great mod that is relatively lightweight compared to others and filled a gap. Appreciate your work on it. I hope you keep updating it and add more features.

Hey Jack, welcome back! The partners spawning around the whole map is because I didn't want fixed location to avoid boring and predictable trips, it's more like the partner is another player and they are doing their things at the moment you call them. If the Partner buys dumb things like tractors or similar it is because they have the "Chaotic" personality, as it says in the mod's descritpion under "Features". I find it pretty fun and original and add the possibility to see vehicles you normally don't see in traffic. The lazer guns shouldn't happen though, as I didn't allow those to be bought... Thanks a lot for your suggestion! I always appreciate them.

Hey Dealien. So some suggestions. The partners need an apartment to pick them up from. The partners spawning on foot on the highway somewhere, or in the mountains isn't working. Also, just a small nitpick. The partners buy the dumbest things imaginable that I have to change every time like buying a tractor as their personal vehicle, or a lazer gun as their weapon. These issues are immersion breaking. Great mod though of course.

Hey Orion, thanks and welcome! No reason to be mad. All my mods work fine, make sure you have all the requirements up to date and correctly installed. Remember to use the scripthookVDotNet nightly build (look also at the pinned post) and in case you have other third party mods make sure they are not causing any sort of conflict.

Hey, if you feel it shouldn't run away it is mostly caused by a conflict with other third party mods. It could happen that another script is trying to "take control" or modify the npc that is your Psrtner causing him to flee.
