You're right, worldbuilding is a difficult, if not downright impossible thing, and it's easy for me to fall into a pattern of self-doubt and second-guessing, so I truly appreciate the counter-ramble!

Riley Vinet

Honestly, world-building is hard. Especially one based entirely off of your own imagining, and isn't a story set in an already established universe. It's easy to think that you want your world to feel unique, different, special, etc. So you decide to go infinity and beyond with naming conventions. Whether that be for people, languages, places, countries, etc. But really, you don't need to go that far to make a world feel unique or distinctive. As you described, the citizens of Kuserra care about survival first; other random nonsense second. Who cares about coming up with a big fancy name for a giant chunk of metal, if your more concerned about not getting shanked in the back over a half-eaten bag of potato chips. In the context of your world, I never batted an eye at 'generic' names like 'The Citadel', 'Downtown', etc. Because in the context of the world itself, it makes perfect sense. I dunno. Just felt like a good ramble needed some rambling back. Keep up the good work
