Video tutorial? requests
🕑 Added 2023-10-23 23:24:27 +0000 UTCI want to simply test the alley of making some shorter "tutorials" or videos. This is highly experimental and I'm not making any promises yet. I might even try a format thats more about philosophy around art, art problems that I am facing and have faced myself etc. BUT:
WHY?
I want to try something different that's still relevant to my art, and see if it's something I like and if it's of value to you guys!
THE FORMAT:
"How Non does it"
I want these videos to be more about how I do things. Not tutorials that explains how everything works and why,
This is for several reasons:
- 1. There's already a ton of tutorial videos out there that explains things in better detail than I could.
- 2. I start to overthink if I need to explain everything around what I'm doing.
- 3. I don't necessarily always know why or if what I'm doing is anatomically correct or whatnot so I want my "tutorials" to be more open ended, and not "THIS IS HOW YOU DO THINGS"
SO I want YOUR suggestion on what you want to see me explain how I do.
Please try to keep it to somewhat simpler things and not: "How to make a full character" etc. I want to start smaller with things that I can show in 5-10 minutes.

I could, but the problem i see with that is that people can get the expectation that you need more equipment than you need. When it comes to pc components, it depends on how hard you want to go. So maybe a video about, where to start But good ideas here, imma think about it

You can make videos showing the equipment you work with; for example, your PC or graphics tablet, because you can't do 3D and sculpting with just anything. You can also show how you take inspiration from what you use. You can also show how to start sculpting, or how to start a character base without making an entire character. Head, body, arm... start little by little at your own pace.

Theres several videos on how to shape A face online. I can do about how I often go on about clothing. Time-lapse is a bit more difficult, since i work so chaotic and not linear at all x) + then its the pressure of performing on screen + I had have to record so much from several projects. Like i cant know beforehand if i like it. Again it COULD be done, but I dont think it would be good + its a lot more work vs what i was thinking rn. And I've never really found time-lapses from other people to be THAT helpful either personally. That's why I want to focus on more specific things Im not turning you down, just sharing my mind ^^
