When it comes to Cory, I think he was in a delusion about their foursome and when Angela said that on top of the fact that she and Shawn broke up, it like shattered him and he was floundering lol. He definitely could have taken what she said and tried to rebuild their friendship slowly, but it was like a good guy overcompensating. I think he cared about her and when she said that he was like, oh god, she thinks I never cared about this friendship. That’s how I took it. Shawn knows how much Cory loves him, Angela didn’t know
