Eheheueheueu. Anyway, Prompto looks absolutely adorable and Nyx quite pleased. Love it!
Oh my god I love this so much! I love me any kind of prom and Nyx interaction but this is so amazing in the context of this au. Prom looks so absolutely content and happy and relaxed, like he's FINALLY getting the attention he needs. It's crazy and sad to think that this might legitimately be the first time he's experienced this quality time and caring touch with an alpha (or maybe anyone). I love that Nyx also looks like he's really enjoying it too, like it's not just a one-sided thing he's doing for Prompto out of pity, but it's actually an interaction that relaxes him and makes him happy. I feel like Prom would really come to appreciate and value that it's something real and gives them a good foundation to build a strong friendship. I'm LIVING for the conflicted assholery of Noct here, and Nyx being unafraid to confront him. It's obvious that another alpha scenting with 'his' omega (whom he's probably been swearing up and down isn't actually his) is giving him conflicted feelings of jealousy and outrage. I can imagine him being angry that seeing the two of them like that actually made him angry in the first place. And let's face it, Nyx telling Noct that he can't have it both ways is absolutely something he's had coming.

Ooh more of this au!! I wonder how long it's been since Prom did go to dinner- I can imagine he went to every one at first, and eventually stopped (felt nervous 1st one he missed, but no one said anything about it and he hated them anyway- either bc he's alone or bc of rude/snotty nobles?) or maybe eventually he's too unwell to go at all (ooh, maybe that's when *someone*- obv not Noct!- finally noticed something was wrong and medical staff got involved...)
