Yeah, the first half of the season was more focused on introductory, some of the lore, showing who has powers and who doesn’t, and the relationships between the characters. After that, I think it started to find its footing, especially during season 2. And from what I remember, while there were quite a few jokes here and there, I don’t think humor was this show’s main thing.
