I cried. I LOVE that the epic "love story" was the platonic love between best friends Miley and Lilly. And I do love that they not only dedicated the entire finale to it, putting respect on their relationship, but that Miley ended up going to Stanford w Lilly because the reason she gave was so sound. This IS a once in a lifetime opportunity she'll never get back - attending college with her best friend. If they had all been down for it, they definitely could have done some amazing things with a college spinoff.

yeah this is definitely one of those finales in my childhood shows that stuck with me. me and my friends recently rewatched it and still teared up. with a show as iconic and legendary as hannah montana it had to end right and i think focusing on lily and miley’s friendship was perfect since that’s also what the pilot episode is centered around when she reveals her secret to her. it’s a whole full circle tear jerker moment and i love it so much

No matter how many times I rewatch this show, I always tear up at the ending. They don’t realize what they did to me😭. Just for a minute, I feel like a child again.
