I feel like Cloud might keep trying to shoo Barret away to take care of Marlene - he went to all this trouble sir D< Appreciate it. And barrets just like 'I am appreciating it - by taking care of you because im so grateful' Probably say that shes with the people he trusts the most with her and he has to make sure theyre all in optimal working order. ALL of them.

Ahh Cloud just being a puddle in his care. Can't comprehend how he's a priority right now when Barret's daughter is /right there/ 🥲 ... 🫢 unless he's lost enough blood to believe that he's hallucinating and this definitely isn't happening right now.
