Oof, I've been in Dj's place. I didn't eat any food for 3 months straight while I was going through depression at age 15 or 16. My older brother noticed after a week or two and confronted me about it and I lied. He found out I was lying and told my great grandma, who was the closest to me in my family. She cooked dinner for my family every Sunday so when we went to her house my brother told her, she made me a plate full of food and made me sit down and eat all of it right in front of her. I was so mad at my brother, so that day didn't change anything. I still went on not eating anything for a while (a few more months) until I started feeling better mentally.
