[Weekly Development Update #44]

Still finishing the renders for part 2. I recently changed my skin shading style a bit so it renders fast, and character look more detailed. Real 3D artists who are trying for realistic know it's not all about the normal maps, it's about the displacement. That's facts. So I cut my render time down by a huge chunk which is fantastic. Just takes time, 3D isn't easy and you'll be looking to improve in areas. So cutting render times down is a huge plus.
I wanted to get this update out by the 20th, still shooting for that but I'm not sure I'll make it. May be a few days after.
Marnie Staying For The Party
So by the poll, everyone wants an option for Marnie to be able to stay at the party, so I'll be adding a third option for that in v0.2. The pin-up above is a rough draft of her party outfit. She's going to be wearing as few clothes as possible, since she's all about showing skin. Her hair will be down like it is now as well, except for sex scenes.
Midnight Paradise Crossover
I finished sculpting Connor from Midnight Paradise, think I did a pretty good job. Just so everyone knows, he won't be banging anyone during the party, it's just an official crossover. He'll pretty much be with the MC and his friends most of the time, so he'll have a pretty good role in it. Once I finish the script, I'll send it to Lewdlab so he can look over it just to make sure I capture Connor's personality perfectly. This may be a one-time crossover; I don't like working with other devs to be honest (people are weird AF bro...). That's why I haven't done any cross-promotions or whatever. But I respect Lewdlab and what he's doing with his game so I sent him an offer and he accepted. That's pretty much the jist of it.
I had to hand-sculpt this dude because Lewdlab uses the inferior Daz3D program. Daz is great to start out with if you're looking to get into 3D, and it's great to use for base models to start sculpting in Blender, but sticking with it is pretty much preventing you from getting better. If you like it, that's great! It's not for me.
New Animation!
The main menu is changing. It will no longer be a static background with the Godson logo, like from the original Godson. It will now be a sex animation. The preview for it will be in the post after this one. I really wanted a mating press animation, so we got one. It'll be with sound as well. I'm doing this because I want people to know what this game is about the minute they open the game. It's about banging hott MILFs!
NTR....
So now everyone can stop asking to add it since you clearly see how everyone feels about it. Now instead of me having to explain why I can't do it (and them not believing me), I'm just gonna send them the link to the poll. Now it's black and white.
The funny thing is, the people who want NTR are always willing to compromise with the people who don't like it. They'll say, "hey, no problem! Just make it an option during certain scenes!". Like for example, with the pizza guy. When Marnie was nude, there could have been more options for the MC to allow Marnie to do more things. Seems simple? Nope! The feedback I got was, "I don't even want to know it exists!". Hell, even with how the game is now (where Marnie cannot do anything with the pizza guy), I still got complaints. Shit like, "Dude! That scene made me VERY uncomfortable! I don't want her nude in front of other people!". Yeah, so you can see the issue here.
Godson is about the MC being a legit BOSS and getting what he wants so it wouldn't make sense anyway.
Netori
I didn't know however that everyone was cool with Netori (MC doing the stealing). When I made this remake, I was trying to avoid any sort of NTR-ISH stuff whatsoever, including the MC stealing (didn't know it was a thing). That's why Marnie is already divorced when you first meet her. Had I known people wanted that, I would have had her still married! Why didn't anyone say anything! Where were yall at back in 2023!? Lol it's all good, too late now, but now I know for the future with any new MILFs added to the game, they will be married (so you'll have to steal the wives). I started hearing rumblings of this around when I made Bianca, which is why she's still married to Robert, and I got no complaints. Damn!
It's not "necessarily" too late to make Marnie married, but when I offered to go back and re-do the beginning, like re-do the animations since we have an animator now, that was met with a bunch of no's and people just wanting the game to progress. So I guess it is too late, leave it like it is then.

The NTR that I would like to see as an option in the game is the cuckold NTR, in which other men fuck the protagonist's girls but he enjoys it, such as that scene in which he asks Marnie to receive naked the delivery man

NTR should be optional, I think the game wasn’t originally advertised as NTR so it picked up an audience that isn’t into that specific kink(me included). Maybe appealing to the majority of the base audience especially so early on in development then adding extra kinks later might be good idea. Idk not game dev so take this w a grain of salt. Love the game homie

I would like see Marnie stay single, minus with MC. It fits more in healthy relationship with MC. I hope not ALL new milfs are married. Not every milf is married in real life and plus it would be just a repeated thing for all new girls and lack diversity of characters. It’s good to have characters with different backgrounds. Like maybe one new girl isn’t a mother at all just mature and was never married.

Dude mix it up, some single milf's, some attached, no biggie. Also only closet cucks have a problem with NTR. They want to take that option out of the game because in real life the option to not be a cuck is not available to them. If you're not a cuck, then all options are open to you in real life, so of course we don't have a problem with you leaving it out...in real life, if we want it in, we put it in (pun intended). Anyway, write your game playa, I'm gonna play either way.

Whoooa hol up the whole “you don’t need to change the past” thing was before you suggested that Marnie would still be married, I mean I stood by what I said that you should prioritize the future over the past but if you want to come back just to fix some text that her husband is working overseas on business trip (and later we could meet him) then that way you don’t have any animation to add, just some text to fix…
