Bubblegum Sunday Update Soon
🕑 Added 2024-11-19 17:00:14 +0000 UTCI’m excited to let you know that if everything goes well our final preview build will be dropping sometime this week. Ever since I’ve been able to work on the project hands-on myself, things have moved forward quickly, and lots of pieces are falling into place.
What to expect from this preview:
dress-up systems are near-complete and functional
locations are coming to life, with NPC vendors (and a few teaser NPC’s)
day/night system is roughly implemented
your progress can now be saved. Assume future builds won’t be compatible with old savefiles though.
no gameplay/story yet. This will be the focus of development moving forward from here on out
I know it’s been slow, but the project has been ramping up lately, even if it perhaps doesn’t appear that way. I promise future releases will not take this long, as we’ve gotten a much better grip on the whole ‘game development’ thing as a whole.
I hope you see my vision and stick with me in support of creating Bubblegum Sunday!

That is the plan. Stories will be 'bite sized' and can be implemented in parallel! This way there is room for many characters and ideas to be explored

Will BGS evolve overtime once officially released? For example, will additional stories be added or expanded upon, will new areas or regions, new characters. Basically will it be a living world with potential content updates (personally hoping for yes, I love your characters and would love to see this sim world grow ❤️)
