I finally was able to finish this sketch request that Harriet suggested a while back. I kept going back and forth on the time period I would fast-forward to in the post-Crimson Peak world. The movie (according to wikipedia) takes place circa 1901...and I assume Edith is approx. 20+ years old...and so come 1930ish she'd be in her 50s or so? I don't math well...*stares at calculator*
I threw in the Papillon dog because...butterfly...and to honor the poor doggo of a former Mrs. Sharpe. R.I.P. Doggo.

I'm intrigued by the symbolism of Alan looking steadfastly ahead while Edith turns back behind... or is that just the dog claiming her attention?
Oh, I like the idea of Edith getting a new dog... funny to see her with her Ankles Showing :-D I wonder how long it took her to reconcile herself to that development - she'd have been a bit old to launch herself into flapperdom post-war!
