I'm pretty sure Daewi is pronounced "day-we," from what I've heard in the anime itself as well as Kimchi and Tofu reacting to it. Or at least, that's the closest to the correct pronunciation.

i know this is a third comment but have to say it. Sadly this series isn't rated very high on myanimelist. Currently 7.94 which is good but way below anything great. Right now I have it 8/10 because it lacks story still, but its definitely obvious its going to pick up and looks like soon with the way they showed the other characters at the end, like this about to move into something bigger.
