Gotta say. Love Ruff But sometimes he jumps to conclusions and gets such tunnel vision set on the wrong things that I just just get really frustrated. I wish I could just pause the video and explain stuff to him. *sigh*

We actually have no proof that that's actually true. I haven't found any interviews where Oda actually said that. I think it's just a case where so many fans have stated it that it is now accepted as fact. It's similar to how so many Dragon Ball fans have stated that Toriyama wanted to end the series after the Freeza and Cell sagas that it is accepted as fact by the community even though there are no interviews or proof that he ever stated that.

To be fair, Pell's death was supposed to be real, it's just it came out just in time for IRL tragedy to make Oda backtrack on killing a character via a tower related explosion.

This part is what made me realize that Eneru might be the most evil character in One Piece. Other villains will have reasons for doing their bad things like power and revenge. Eneru's goal the entire time is to leave and go to the moon. He doesn't care about Skypeia or its people. He could accomplish his goal without killing anybody but he doesn't. He has such a huge God Complex that he wants to kill everyone and then leave.

Oda has said that he's not a fan of killing characters for the sake of killing characters. If he killed people every arc then it would lose its meaning and make them less impactful which I agree with. This is the biggest reason why characters don't die as in other manga/anime and it does makes deaths hit a lot more. The only thing I'm not a fan of are the fakeout deaths for side characters like Pell. I don't mind that he's alive but I just don't like how we got a big emotional "death" that was just changed chapters later. Pagaya here was fine since his reintroduction was hilarious.

Ruff in case you didnt catch it Enel flew into the moon in the end because the Endless Vearth was the moon the whole time. They showed him alive in the end so you could see what the Endless Vearth was referring to so its not spoiler. His goal from the beginning was to go to the moon thinking its "Endless Vearth" because its all just rock up there and nothing else. I heard there's actually a side chapter strictly in the manga about him going to the moon and meeting aliens on it XD

The reason some people don't like the Skypiea arc is mostly that people wanted to rush to "The Good Part" in One piece. This could be because of people hyping the upcoming arcs.

The One Piece x Food Wars crossover is safe to read. It's called SHOKUGEKI NO SANJI. To my knowledge, it's only in a special one-shot manga on the VIZ website. It's not really a crossover, it's a story done by the creative team of Food Wars.

Ruff, I think you've picked up on the biggest detail that separates One Piece from Naruto. While both have the shonen fights with big endings, Naruto doesn't give you the catharsis that One Piece does. We get to celebrate with the Strawhats. We get to witness a little of the relief they bring to the people they save. With Naruto, it's on to the next mission. With One Piece, Oda says "why don't we hang out for a bit and enjoy ourselves? We're pirates. Let's have some fun."

I would highly suggest using One Pace for the arc after G8 since the filler gets particularly bad during it, it makes the watching experience much better.

I love how this Arc ends it's a great party and wraps everything up nicely plus it gives us plenty of questions for the future regarding the history of the world But my question is, how come if Roger and his crew made their way to the bell 22 years ago why didn't anyone in the crew ring the bell?

I think you missed the part with enel and what he was reffering to the endless vearth. As he was saying that last line, you could see the moon in background. There is a cover story in the manga and its continuing his "adventure" but I believe that its too early too check it out (Spoilers from the titel of each chapters). And I dont know exactly when you can check them out. Only if you want too ofcourse.
