When did Nami get proper training for surgery being a Nurse. I mean only thing she did was help with suction but she was hella confident being in there otherwise she would've freaked out entering surgery herself

The hype I think has some reasons: It respects its characters way more than most filler episodes in any other show, has a very good antagonist that doesn't rely on power levels, is funny, blends in canon material really well without revealing anything - and is followed by the worst adaption of canon material in the entire anime. So it feels more canon than the mini arc after it. And this is something rarely any filler achieves.

I'll admit that I don't understand the hype of the G8 arc. Do I think it's good? Sure, I enjoyed it. But the way some people talk about G8 they make it seem like it is the greatest filler ever in the history of anime. I've seen many reviewers get bombarded about watching the G8 arc. Even people solely reading the manga are bombarded about it. It's a fine arc but I don't feel like it deserves the pedestal that some people put it on. In fact, the way people treat it almost turns me off of the arc.

Surgeons walk with their hands held in front to keep them from accidentally brushing against unclean surfaces. They need their hands to be as clean as possible when going into surgery, so they don't introduce any harmful bacteria or cause complications with foreign particles in the body.
