Eren was so dismotivated due to the mental stress it has on him knowing how many people died for him and the death of his father, imagine losing your memory and then remember that YOU ATE YOUR OWN FATHER. That's so messed up, the weird thing would be if Eren didn't felt anything at all.

You'd probably lose your determination like Eren if you had to watch a hundred adults give their lives for you while feeling like you are not worth their sacrifice.
