He wasn't talking through the fly. The anime was just using the fly as a visual reference for Bruno and the viewers, since the fly is essentially following Narancia, and the enemy I guess is dragging Narancia everywhere somehow. So therefore, wherever the fly is, that's where the enemy is around. Also it was for JoJo-style dramatic effect.

Bruno unzipping his hand is interesting because he didn't use it against Giorno and Giorno was the first one to rip his arm off to extend his range. So in a way Giorno gave Bucciarati a way to save them even though he was far away.

I get that you are surprised that the old ladies and the dude from the boats now Bucciarati but in certain parts of the world (even today), organizations like the mafia, gangs, militias or other sorts of mob do more to protect the population than the police. People don't really care that they are criminals because they feel safer with the mafia around than a corrupt and incompetant police force. Like I have some friends that come from Bazil and they told me that the favelas they grew up in felt safer with the militia ()who were people they knew and knew their struggle) than with the police around. Oh and Abbacchio's stand is actally Moody Blues :P

Part 5 in a way mirrors part 3 a lot. You could basically say it's a more fabulous retelling of part 3 lol. I sometimes get the vibe that Araki wanted to redo part 3's formula now that he was better at writing stands.
