Has anyone else had issues with the quality of this video? Also the sound goes robotic about 5 mins in. I havent missed an episode in my rewatch journey, but I think I will skip this one even though so many good things happen during it.

I would say pre-time skip is very character focused, while post-time skip is very plot focused! Pre-time skip is one of the easiest 10/10s I’ve given to a section in a series (almost 600 chapters worth)! Post time skip will slowly get its way up there :)

I will say the beauty of One Piece is that each arc builds on the story so well that by the time you get to post time skip you have so many amazing plot points and mysteries to look forward to that it makes it feel much more exciting then pre time skip IMO

Second Gear would be the proper way to say it not Gear Second. They may say Gear Second in Japanese but that's not sentence structure in English works. All the proper translations will use Second Gear.

The mirage clones thing started in Alabasta in Nami's fight against Miss Double Finger from Baroque Works. It was quite a while ago so you probably forgot. Usopp designed the weapon to complement her cleverness and weather knowledge. That and the party tricks.

Actually I think the pacing is the worst in Water 7 and Enies Lobby tbh. It picks up bit by bit overtime. The latest episodes of the current arc actually have some of the best pacing I’ve seen so far
