There’s an old YouTuber named Jenny Nicholson who had Star Wars AUTISM until the new Disney movies broke her… too bad. But she went to a CON one time wearing a slave Leia costume she made out of ‘construction paper’ pretty much. Is that what you call multicolored paper used for art?

I'd like to think you'll be fine, but there are of course a small subset of people who are fans of things who get weird with stuff. Just do your best to ignore any negativity. Personally, I think it's awkward because I'm wearing the exact same thing right now and my beard doesn't really set the look off. 😂

Honestly it's YouTube they'll roast anything and everything. Somebody will probably try it. But don't let them get to you if you can manage! I'm not sure hopefully that's changing for the better as well. It might be 8/10 because tons of people watching are angry at the fact oh no a woman is confident and clicked on the thumbnail just for that, but honestly I'd expect very few roasts when considered genuinely, not only A: is the cosplay good, B: you look great!! but also C: this confidence and openness has been missing for a while, a lot of people like myself don't feel super welcome in the fandom, and a lot of people of all kinds will be happy to see you enjoying it as you are 😊
