Pedophile I just have a bleep button lol
As someone who’s seen it many times as I’m sure you have. Let him. I did and the creator wanted it to be that way. He’ll find out soon.
You aren’t wrong my man. HxH is my number 1 anime but this scene along with hisoka scenes everyone knows stand out as just really weird. I’ll give the benefit of doubt for a different culture and 20 years ago. But I’m glad you called it out. Age of consent when he wrote it was 13 when written and still is in 2021. Really fucking weird but you won’t have to deal with it again in hxh after the palm dates.

I'm curious to know what Ruff was trying to say, but apparently not allowed to and it got bleeped even on Patreon.

I love one of the translations - when Gon is talking to Killua about his experience dating: “They call them ‘cougars,’ isn’t that funny?”
Michael Royal
yea the date is corny and dumb. but hisoka being a creep about murdering people is far wiereder, yet the fandom loves him. so yeah your right. lol
Evan
I feel like you're overestimating Gon and underestimating Killua lmao. Also they have mentioned in the past that Netero is the strongest hunter ever
LANA Dashie?
Now we getting into the good stuff

Can you lower ending volume, please? It's so loud compare to the rest of the video
Lemonkatze
palm is unfortunately in her 20s </3 not a reverse loli

Ruff: can we get some positivity HxH: heres a nice date! Ruff: Not with the kids but in all seriousness i don't mind the date I think the fact Gon did this stuff back on the island and Killua thinking "he's an adult" is all pretty funny especially since everyone's ok with Hisoka getting turned on by thinking about killing them

The show could have also 100% gone without any of the Palm stuff though- universally agreed I hope-

I am too excited for your next HxH post.

I agree the stuff with Palm was really weird and gave extreme pedo vibes, but I don't think what she felt was like gross nasty sexual stuff. I think she just likes that he's not judgemental and the way he treats her as well as his personality and determination. Basically, everyone through the show has been drawn to Gon in different ways- as creepy as Palm's stuff was I can weirdly understand to a degree. Still gross and wrong though. Also, she was willing to murder a child so I don't think she's at all mentally okay in the first place.

Killua did Ren training for an entire month. Bisky's power lets them get in roughly a year's of training in that 1 month. He's not exactly the same as before.

tbh this chapter is the most uncomfortable thing in HxH. Maybe in shonen. But now you're over it!
N
I agree, though I think that sort of thing is more common in Japanese humor. If it helps (though it doesn't really), I think Palm is attracted to him for his personality and not his body.
N
Episode 93 is where much of the "Killua's in love with Gon" stuff comes from. I'm not gonna get into that though cause it's pretty irrelevant.
Hey senpai, love ur content and ik it will just get better since ur in such hype arc of hxh and gonna be in a supreme arc in op in some time, but could u also check out the one punch man anime, its 12 ep each season, there are 2 season's, 1st is great animation, 2nd is a bit meh on animation but I think ull still like it, give it a try. Hope ur op vids come soon, peace

The date with palm stuff is definitely my least favorite part of HxH. It's not funny, it's just creepy.

It maybe was me who was complaining about anime vs. manga, but I do completely agree that scenes like this work much better in anime. Action and tragedy (usually) are enhanced in an animated medium because of all the tools available. On the other hand, pacing and comedy usually work much better in the manga format. They both have their pros and cons. For me, the reason I prefer the manga of this arc (though I do prefer the anime of most arcs) has to do with some genuine pacing issues later on, and because I am an impatient person and this arc is so long, but I do think adaptations like this have their benefits in enhancing the story.
N
They mentioned earlier that the queen may have human DNA in her already, but the actual answer to your question about her roots is something that's only in the manga stuff after where the anime ends.
N
The king was definitely inspired by Cell. This entire arc is a criticism of the tropes DBZ sort of made standard.
