Thriller Bark is the shortest "saga," but the shortest "arc" (as far as the manga is concerned at least) is tied between Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, and Return to Sabaody. If you're breaking up the show by sagas (e.g. East Blue, Arabasta, Water 7, etc.), it's the shortest, but if you're breaking it up by islands/arcs, it's one of the middle-tier length ones. Note: the Thriller Bark saga contains only one arc, the Thriller Bark arc. That's why it's so short. It only has one arc.

The pacing issues is mostly for the week-to-week viewers. Even Dressrosa, which is arguably the worst paced story in the series, doesn't really feel badly paced if you binge it (at least it didn't for me). But Wano (the current arc and potentially one of the best in the series depending on how it ends) feels slow as hell now that I'm watching week to week. It's still great, just realllllllllly f-ing slow.

As to the dark question about being buried alive I'd agree with friends would be better but on the desperate enough to eat each other part it probs wouldnt get that far, y'all would most likely suffocate first from lack of oxygen first

I think you misunderstood the comment on the molestation scene because I did formulate in a misleading way. The molestation and the dialogue is canon, but Nami's "presentation" in the bath – which was the topic – isn't found in the manga.

You've got a flaw in your logic, vis-a-vis being buried alive. You probably wouldn't get around to the eating each other part because you'd run out of air first. Therefore, the real question is: Would you be buried alone which would prolong your life because you wouldn't be sharing oxygen, or would you be buried with someone so you would have company and your death would be faster?

I wouldn't even say it's not as bad. It "not as bad" in the same way a fight is "not as good" in the manga as the anime. Animation just provides more space for portrayal to be complex, resulting in more emotional connection. She still gets treated exactly the same way in the manga, pinned against a wall and sexually assaulted.

Not sure who told you the Nami scene isn't canon. It's chapter 446. The person who said it wasn't might be referring to it not being as bad as it showed in the anime, but it was still pretty bad.
