Sherri (the long horse) was captured, the manga had her shot. Which meant that the anime could stretch these episodes. Luffy actually picks Chopper and they enter the last round.

This arc definitely gets way too much hate. Too many people just expect every single arc in One Piece to be serious and full of fights and any arc that doesn't follow that formula is called bad. This one, being a short comedic arc, gets it the most. People also call it filler and that it doesn't matter when it actually serves a couple of purposes. First it gives a short breather between the emotional end of Skyepia and the upcoming Water 7 arc. Second, it actually sets up a few of the themes for Water 7. It both shows the crew working together and how much Luffy will do for his crew which are important coming up. This arc is also hilarious and has so many great and funny moments. Granted, I will admit that the manga version is much better and more enjoyable while the anime version sort of ruined part of it by adding the filler.

True. Your word "people want to get to the good stuff immediately" hit the point. I wonder whether it still as satisfying to the people if get to the good stuff right away and rush everything to finish? Just a reflection, no judgement, no offense to anyone. You have very valid points.

Honestly Ruff, people want to get to the good stuff immediately because it takes time for them to wait for uploads each week. At the same time editing and all is a huge pita and you upload not only onepiece but other reactions too. If we were to switch this situation and say you uploaded onepiece ONLY, I probably doubt people would complain over uploading fillers instead wouldn't mind uploading everything. Onepiece fillers aren't bad imo. I mean fillers are "dragging" but onepiece fillers is watchable and enjoyable compared to Bleach/Naruto fillers no offense. I prefer you reacting to everything as a onepiece fan but majorty says they want you to skip fillers. So at the end it comes down to how you want to handle. Like final point is Onepiece filler isn't the issue it's just the time people have to wait for reaction that makes it impatient to get to the hype-buildup.

IMPORTANT!!!! the last minutes of episode 226 is canon (min 19 until the end) so you should watch that at least on your own bc it's an important scene

In the manga, they only played 3 games. Then they added in the anime an additional 3 games. Not sure why. Maybe to add to the excitement. Also, they did some slight changes in who was taken and given.

unfortunately I dont think the wanted poster eyecatchers will be returning until the late 700s. Up until then its variations of this version. And yes the "filler" in the middle of this arc is anime canon so the content and details of those episodes is mentioned in the last few canon episodes of the arc. the difference between the anime and the manga is that the next game after the second one was supposed to be the last game they are going to have in the last few canon episodes of the arc (the ones after 213-216). They wanted to extend the arc and wanted the content to connect with the canon material so they decided to add an extra set of games in the next few anime canon episodes. Thats why they added the filler detail of Luffy choosing Shelly instead of Chopper. This arc was supposed to end after only 3 games

Luffy's decision to choose Shelly over Chopper is filler. In the manga Luffy chooses Chopper with no hesitation whatsoever. I said more in the discord, but just incase you don't see it there.

That’s not the issue it just takes some time to process. Other videos I’ve uploaded on streamable have 1080p. It probably just hasn’t processed yet. I’ll check it later to make sure

Also Ruff, there doesn’t seem to be an option for changing the quality to 1080p as its not hosted on Vimeo anymore but Streamable now. Was wondering if this could be fixed for the next set of videos
