The streamable videos are actually a higher quality then the Vimeo ones since they don’t have a data limit I didn’t have to downscale them. But it seems they take a little longer to process. I usually post here as soon as they’re done uploading. I may have to start waiting half a day before posting to let it process. I’ll keep an eye on it

Is it just me or are streamable videos lower res than the vimeo ones? I cant change it and the slighlty lower res can make reading subtitles hard.

By the way, that whole ending with the Mole and the grandson actually was not in the manga and it was not written by Oda. It went right from the end of the Davey Back Fight into the next non-filler stuff in 226. Tonjit gets back to his other villagers in a different way. You can probably figure out how after the next episodes.

From 19:40, during episode 226 on Crunchyroll is where the "actual canon" happens. Episodes 220 to the majority of 226 is filler (And if you want more foxy, you can watch it). The last 2 minutes-ish (not counting the ED) of 226 is super important. after that is non stop hype!

loved your reaction to the ending of this arc! And yes! After Long Ring Long Land arc Water 7 is officially the next arc. the arcs in the Water 7 saga are some of the best of the series so you are gonna love it

To answer a question you had last episode: The last Skypeia chapter came out on December 8, 2003 and the last Skypeia episode came out on June 13, 2004. So they were only about 6 months ahead when the G-8 filler began. By the time the G-8 arc, Davy Back Fight extension, and post Davy Back filler is over, the chapter 319 (which is the corresponding chapter) comes out April 26, 2004 while episode 227 comes out March 25, 2005. So they managed to add an extra five months of padding during this time. I still prefer how they do it here in One Piece with shorter filler arc and some extensions than in Bleach with 20+ episodes of filler in the middle of other arcs or Naruto with 90 straight episodes of filler. Especially since I'm a guy who always watches all filler.

There's also canon in the beginning of 225. And he can skip 226 since all of the canon stuff is replayed anyway.

Yeah you should watch the very first scenes of 225 (like 3 minutes max), it goes back to being filler after the title card. You can skip 226 completely and move to 227 since all of the canon moments at the end of 226 are recapped in the beginning of 227.
