Just to clarify about the first chapter. What Jotaro did was carve Jolyne’s name onto his arm with star platinum. It was due to there deep bloodline connection and his love for her still inside his soul (only his memories are stolen). And the reason Jolyne received the carving of her name as well is because powerful family bloodlines in jojo are able to share psychic connections (like sensing when someone who shares the same blood is near, like Dio did in part 3. As he and the other Joestars could sense each other due to them sharing blood.) and in some cases physical connections. A good example of the physical connection is when Enya the hag from part 3 shared some of the same wounds as her son J Giel did when he was killed. Due to them having a deep connection in there bloodline like the Joestars. Also when it stated that Jotaro went to Tokyo instead of being there with Jolyne, that’s not when he was in part 4. They would have said Morioh. When Jotaro was in part 4 Jolyne was 7 years old. This was just an unrelated trip. Just don’t want you to be confused, hope this helps 👍
