We lost a member of our community today...

but SovietSniperTV or (Dilon) one of the communities longest running Moderator's has passed away due to cancer. I've known Dilon since my days on Mixer & he has been a beacon in this community for over 3 years now. He's been battling with cancer since I've known him & had to frequently take long breaks away from the stream so he could be in the hospital and fight cancer. The mod team have known for a few weeks now that Dilon was given about 2 months to live but unfortunately that time was cut short.
Dilon was a kind, amazing & integral part of this community and I can't express how hard this is to process. Over the years we've had countless people join and leave the community but never leaving like this. My heart goes out to Dilon's family and his brother who reached out to myself & the rest of the mod team about his passing.
I spoke with his Brother and had his family set up a Go Fund Me to help his family cover the funeral expenses as unfortunately in the US even when someone passes it can put a family in crippling debt & I can't imagine the stress & sadness that his family must be going through right now. They lost a son, a brother, their family and now on top of that they now have to figure out how they'll even afford to give him a proper funeral.
I would appreciate any amount you can spare to his family to help with this even $1 from a bunch of people from the community can go along way. We lost a part of our family today & I want to make sure we do as much as we possibly can for his family.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message, I'm sure with the servers growth there is a lot of people here that didn't have a chance to meet or speak with Dilon but he was and is one of the sweetest most kindhearted person I have had the pleasure to work with over the past 3+ years. We will all miss you and I know we're all just glad he is no longer suffering.
I don't know what else to say outside of this, typing this up has been very difficult but Dilon always know that you will be remembered by myself and countless other members of this community.... I'll post the gofundme link below

my condolenses go out to the family, its horrible losing a close family member as someone who just lost there grandma a couple hours ago i hope they can afford a proper funeral for him because i cant imagine the sadness of not being able to have a proper funeral, im in the financial situation to be able to handle a funeral wich atleast gives me some comfort in these hard times, kind regards from sweden.

I don't know if it is going to help much but try to be grateful that you actually met this person and you could have never meet him. I lost someone in my family months ago and that helped me to get the feeling of closure.(english isn't my first language forgive my rudeness if I have offended you)

As someone who battled cancer for four years out of senior year of high school in 2016-20, i can only express my prayers. Fortunately I’m in remission now but all of the people who suffer from cancer are like family in my eyes. Rest In Peace Dilon, ❤️
