The tiger fight is filler. Most of 497 and 498 and *all* of 499 is not manga content. I was surprised to see it, tbh, cause I've never seen the anime for this arc.

Omgoshhh I can't believe I always thought that fight against the tiger meant Luffy was to be captain 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ but it seems I didn't and still don't understand it at all And also Oda gives us PTSD literally can never relax when watching one piece cause something bad may happen and the time you're like ohh it's calm oda is like well surprise Ace is dead or Robin is about to die or Nami is actually suffering. Honestly since Arlong Park I've never been able to relax while watching One Piece

Hajime no Ippo a boxing anime is really good the manga is over 1200 chapters and still ongoing but unfortunately there are only 100 eps or a bit more than that. anyways the anime needs to make more seasons

I think Garp always knew that they would become pirates so he left them to be raised by mountain bandits who are basically "land pirates" so they can adapt. And he is coming to visit to see if they are okay and if they still want to be pirates. He is probably beating them just to hide his real intentions and to see how strong they are so they will be okay in the future...

actually, 498-499 is not manga episode. naguri (his name means 'punch' in Japanese) is animation original character. But this 2 episode is so good... i want to see naguri in manga..
