It's been about 9 days since he punched Saint Charlos. 3 days of travelling to Amazon Lily About a day spent running around the place and we found out there were 6 days until the execution the night of the party there. They left that night. 5 days of travel - they arrived about 30~ hours before the execution (which is on the 6th day, so they got there the day before) So, yeah, 9 days to get news of The Punch, but they HAVE had other things on their mind aside from bounties... like Whitebeard coming to fuck their shit up, so they've probably put bounties on the back-burner and focussed on getting shit ready for the execution and the fall-out of it to come instead. Understandably.

as said in the fight between ace and blackbeard, blackbeards logia devil fruit is different in the fact that instead of you not being able to be hit by physical attacks it absorbs any devil fruit attack as shown when ace tried to use his fire fist against one of his darkness attacks, so in theory luffy could beat blackbeard. edit: oh and, oda stated that if enel were to have a wanted poster it would be roughly about 500 million belly respectivly, and considering luffy managed to beat enel at 100 million belly, luffy beating blackbeard is entirely possible though blackbeard has no pre-ts bounty.

Bounties aren't really meant to be a measure of strength, they're more or less a measure of how much the World Government wants you dead/captured. Ever since literally declaring war against the WG, Luffy hasn't done much to make himself seem like more of a threat. I mean he did punch a Celestial Dragon and survive, but the WG didn't even know Luffy was alive until he showed up in Impel Down and it's only been like a day since then.

Bounties are determined by power and danger to the goverment, Is already been said that after 100M the bounty doesn't increase much, and as a reference Ace has a 500M bounty and he is way stronger than Luffy, so don't expect Luffy's bounty increase to much.

Just so you know, the Ace/Blackbeard fight was in widescreen. The anime switched to widescreen at episode 209 and that fight was episode 325. My guess is that they altered those scenes so that they matched the other Jaya flashback scenes which were in 4:3.

A difference between Buggy and Mr. Satan though is that Buggy is actually pretty strong and equal to the other pirates. He was on Roger's crew and regularly fought against other crews like Whitebeard, Shiki, and even the Marines. He's not weak but he just became complacent over the years so he doesn't reach the potential that he has.

You are wrong about Blackbeard powers. He said himself that his logia - Darkness - doesn't skip attacks, it attracts all attacks, so you don't need any special powers to hit Blackbeard

By the way, Blackbeard was never going after Ace. Ace went after Blackbeard and that's why they fought. Blackbeard's plan was to go after Luffy. He just switched it to Ace when Ace showed up and fought him. Blackbeard even asked Ace to join him.

Hannibal is such an underrated character, his determination was truly admirable. If u look at the situation from his perspective, some of the worst criminals are trying to escape and who knows who they might kill, and he is the only one standing in their way, making him responsible for their escape
