bruh one pace sucks that's why? it skips emotional scenes sometimes skips in and out of the music its just not what one piece is supposed to be but i guess some people do act like elitists but they just want ruff to experience the full story how it was made to be seen....

This isn't true at all. Lol. It's not "always best to watch the real thing" if the "real thing" suffers from converting a 33-36 chapters-a-year series to a 50 episodes-a-year series. The "real thing" is the manga, not the anime. And One Pace is better at giving you the real thing than the Toei anime. But I digress.

I think currently punk hazard is fine as it is, it's not stretched and doesn't have any pacing issues but as you get into certain 2 arcs you begin to see why some people wanted you to watch one pace instead (it's mainly on a level of stretching like certain black clover episodes where they recap whole 4 minutes in the middle of the episode for no reason) but tbh original one piece is more episodes for us in a way so I dont mind at all.

I honestly wouldn't want him to either. I mostly just take issue with all the people dismissing One Pace outright without any actual reasoning. Like you said, Ruff has been enjoying his journey so far and likely will not be complaining about all these pacing issues at all. I agree with you but I also don't think I said anything wrong.

Glad this is your decision! I didn't panic when you brought up the idea of switching to One Pace because I would watch regardless of whatever you picked. I can't say I've watched all of One Pace but have given parts of it a try just to see if I like it. It's great to get through the story quickly, like the manga, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that isn't already a One Piece fan and especially not if they don't have a problem with the pacing. I don't understand why some argue that people's opinions aren't valid if they haven't seen One Pace. If you haven't watched something before you wouldn't want to watch someone react to it. Pretty simple concept. Ruff has enjoyed all of One Piece so far as it is. He hasn't complained about pacing in the slightest. I want him to continue watching what he enjoys and not switch to an edited down version just to appease those who don't enjoy the pacing. Seriously consider doing more episodes a video for the upcoming arc though!

in some instances, One Pace really is the better choice. especially for an Arc like Dressrosa, but in shorter and better paced arcs, the OG is better and more wholesome.

The pacing wont feel as bad with the amount of One Piece your watching. A lot of the pacing issues people have is from watching it week to week but when you can binge multiple episodes at a time it goes by a lot quicker and doesnt feel like its as bad as people make it to be

Ok I'll be honest. One Piece OG is very good but can be really bad at pacing... so If you're in for some multiple way too long shots of people or flasbacks of something that happened in the same episode then you'll be ok. Also One Pace would pretty much fuck up how your videos are set since the episode list isn't really respected

You should totally do what you want. One Pace is pretty good. I feel a lot of people were vehemently against it in the comments without even know anything about it. To all the idiots saying "it's always best to watch the real thing"... I hope you see the irony in how you're basically being just like a manga elitist in reverse. Whatever floats your goat I guess. One Pace is pretty accurate to the manga and for that reason I will be championing it forever. Cause the manga is my number 1 for any form of media and I always feel like the anime doesn't do it justice half the time with all the padding, filler etc. Whatever you do I'll be watching the One Piece reactions while you're still making them, Ruff.

One pace is pretty much what dbz kai is to dbz. It doesn’t feel janky or anything. It did improve the quality of the show for me when later episodes become full of filler. You can at least try one episode by yourself and see how you feel or compare
