So the way that the tournament is set up is that the regular competitors are divided up into 4 blocks to duke it out battle royale style. The solitary winner of each of those blocks would move onto the final round, another battle royale where they would have to face each other as well as five powerful representatives of the Donquixote family, the lone winner getting Ace's Flare-Flare fruit.

This is why Oda's writing is so good. Not only do you not know what the fuck is going on yet even though things have been quietly hinted at, but you're also making predictions about things and they're gonna be subverted in ways you could not fathom. This has to be the best arc to watch someone react to.

I thought that was just a mistake in the subtitles since "Donquixote" is an actual brand name in Japan. I think his last name was a reference to that. I'm pretty sure they just made a mistake in this instance when they typed it out as "Don Quixote" instead of "Donquixote" but then again I could be completely wrong. Somebody correct me if I am about the reference thing

Okay so What Bellami said was a mistranslation When they put “I won’t pick on you anymore” He actually said “I won’t laugh at you anymore” which is honestly a lot more meaningful Also the whole Don thing….it just means Mr. in Spanish lol And DonQuixote just means Mr. Quixote Which is a famous figure in Spanish (Spain) Literature (If u see there a bunch of Spanish and Italian motifs in Dressrossa bc Donquixote is a Spanish figure) Also dude ur not ready for Barto

I think you need to understand at this point that the "Observation Haki" is pretty well mastered by the Monster Trio. That's why Sanji and Zoro can sense things coming or them being watched.
