My most emotional moment is actually the death of Merry. It is such a beautiful sad few episodes, if that makes sense. From the moment they get rescued by her, till she passes, I am just on the floor basically. How Oda was able to make people care so much about a boat is insane. And in hindsight, the whole of Water 7 and Enies Lobby was all about Merry.

Rebecca's armor is mostly her own choice. The Colosseum has a strict weight limit. If you look at the other gladiators including Agilia they are not wearing much either. Also, Rebecca's fighting style requires swift movements so she cannot be hunkered down by thick, heavy weight. I also believe that her armor is supposed to be an homage to Red Sonja which is why Oda designed it the way that it is.

I’ve told my friends that OP is a pick your poison anime. Some things get you, some don’t. For example, I’m able to emotionally handle most of the sad stuff in this series. Don’t know why but I just can. Ace’s death though and most things related to him now almost always gets me blubbering like a baby. You don’t need a reason as to why Dressrosa’s backstory hits you. It’s just one of those things where you can’t help but get emotional at. It’s your poison
