I know you're way past this point by now and someone else has probably already commented about it, but the weird bounty thing is just because of the way numbers are in Japanese. Instead of separating things into millions, billions etc, they use thousand, ten thousand, hundred million etc and every number is just a combination of those. So jack's bounty is 10 lots of one hundred million, aka 1 billion to us.
