the starry key arc is one of my fav filler arcs tbh if u ever have time to rewatch it in the future on your own time i would recommend it!

its kinda like they wanted to make certain things anime only cannon which they wouldnt be the first but then they just... didn't? and thats part of why fairy tales post time skip gets a bad rap among a few other things that at the time it came out people really werent the fondest of but i still personally like it

and there will be times they outright mention or callback to filler characters/moments as a point of significance

the only reason i can think people said you may have some confusion if you skip the filler is that fairy tale did a really weird thing in its anime simmilar to what bleach did with the bounts where sometimes filler is just spun into the cannon when it has no real weight to it but they did it to make the filler seem substantial so there will be points where they like spin filler in randomly as if its part of the plot when its really not and it can leave some people confused

I am soooo hyped for this arc, it is definitely my favorite arc. I can't wait to see your reaction to it, It's like watching it as it released. It's going to be tough to wait each week for your reactions. But it's going to be sooo worth it.
