Viz & Aniplex Have Gone Nuclear Across Patreon! **Lets Chat**
🕑 Added 2023-03-17 18:31:42 +0000 UTCIf you haven't heard Viz & Aniplex have gone full nuclear on patreon. Multiple reactors have had their Patreon's suspended in a matter of minutes with zero chance to remove afflicted videos or dispute.
I know that Re:Animated & Double Dragon Broz are two that have been suspended just to name a few...Although Re:Animated has been reinstated as of today things are still iffy.
They are copyright claiming people for reactions in mass, they are ALSO nuking TIMER reactions and even people's banner image. Its clearly an overstep and of course we all can hope that its a mistake but lets be real anime has always been a major issue because of the disparity between Fair Use Laws around the globe and Japan not having those laws.
Because of that I have removed all of the following series entirely from this patreon but they are available in the discord so they aren't gone just can't be viewed by patreon
- All of JoJo's (All new JoJo's videos will exclusively be posted in the discord)
- Hunter x Hunter (all HxH videos have been moved to the discord)
Obviously who knows to what degree this will continue and if this will effect other series such as One Piece but just to be safe the best thing I can say is to make sure you are in the discord so if anything happens to the Patreon you'll still have access to the videos y'all are here for.

Point is they can't stop it. If nothing else licences to stream it will get cheap enough for individual reactors eventually

What in the world are you talking about lol, none of what you’re saying makes any sense or is going to change the fact that animation studios do not want their hard work being uploaded on 3rd party sites to fully watch.

Well yeah there's the "them" that's corporate interest, by the book, quartely finance but within that is the "them" that will have the energy to move in more independent directions when they see a fair income that shows which series are valuable to international audiences. Basically, we gotta move the payment away from IP aquirement somehow cause corporations are just gonna keep merging otherwise... Just such a lawyer wall between having a myAnimelist type donation site. Bet its not gonna happen till anime user IDs are connected to marketting to pay the middlemen fees... Or maybe a patreon type model through blockchain tech idk just rambling Crunchyroll aint it, but if we all boycott, animators starve first so whatevs

What would this change? The issue is they don’t like their IPs getting uploaded fully to other sites. Give them all the money you want, it’s not gonna make them wanna protect their IPs any less

Alternatively you could just watch the show legally through subscriptions instead of bootleg sites, Not all your money goes to them but at least a bit does

If I have the time and want to yea I will. Atm I'm just recording it when I have time. There probably will be times where I do more but atm I just do not have the time to do it. We've increased output on NNA exponentially since then and with Fairy Tail having zero plans to go to YouTube. I just can't justify putting more time into it atm Obviously that could change and when I finish JoJo's I won't have to worry about recording that so I can use that time to do some extra Fairy Tail but yea atm its just when I have time

by the way are the fairy tail uploads going to increase now that you’re caught up on one piece? I remember at the start of the year when you started reacting way faster you said you’d increase the amount of fairy tail once you’re caught up with one piece. Not tryna pressure you though, go at your own pace. Just curious
