I don't want Charloss dead, if he's dead, it means he can't be made to suffer more for our amusement. Death is too good for him, I want him to survive till the very end, to see all his power and wealth ripped away and be forced to live in the streets as a beggar. The saving life by becoming immortal was more of an excuse because I can't imagine someone just doing the immortality procedure on just an order

It’s a pretty solid theory but the misconception is that the procedure turns people into immortals but it only prevents them from dying by aging so they can still be killed and stuff. When doflamingo brought it up he said he’d essentially be immortal because he believed in his strength so wholeheartedly

The guards disappearing I think is because they saw Imu or Imu's rooms. Something they were not supposed to see. I believe Imu is Lili. She didn't pledge her sword to the empty thrown because she sat on it instead. I bet under that veil she looks almost exactly like Vivi. The swords were explained during the reverie. The 19 swords at the top are from the 20 founding families minus Lili, pledging they will not try to sit on the thrown. The swords below that are all the other rulers through out the 800 years that have been allied with the government. They have to make the same pledge when they first come there. Remember Sabo's trash brother being asked to pledge his sword too.

Just a theory of mine about Imu ive had since she was mentioned plus what we just learned of Lili. Cobra mentioned that 19 of the 20 Royals stabbed swords around the thrown and Lili didn't because she was going home. But what if on her way home she turned around, came back and sat on the throne. Then there is the Ope Ope no Mi immortality operation. The only way for people to know about it, is if someone became immortal. What if during the Void Century war Lili was injured and a loyal follower saved her by making her immortal. Can't kill immortals(usually). She then decided to rule the new world from the shadows forever instead of her home country.
