Cartoon animation is not the same way that japonise animation, because Oda did inspire himself from cartoon, plus they need to make it evolve in 2023.

OK that's interesting, so we could expect at least one scene by one traditional cartoon animator, as far as I know. That's exciting, but the work is still split among many animators as it's often been, and I can already picture who handles what in terms of western vs anime style.

AFAIK, it's confirmed. The official Twitter account of one of the animators said something like "I just sent the One Piece thing". Look it up, the tweet is still there (@OleLoken) and there's many news sites saying it.

Literally everyone I've seen is saying that's the fakest rumor, Warner Bros is not making anything. It's not something they need but in either case I heard that's debunked or at the very least unconfirmed!

For your information, for the next big event, Funimation did contact Warner Bros. and people that handle looney tunes. I don't know what they will do but it proof that they don't want to make it less than perfect.

On the upside, you know it's top tier if badass things like Raizo's fight and even Big Mom's fight to a point is so overshadowed by even MORE badass things :D

if the thing is happening by episode 1070 then that will be airing in mid July assuming there are no break weeks for the anime. I am so hyped for that episode!!! Been waiting to see that since the chapter first came out.

Ruff man, animation wise there isn’t 1 single one piece episode that is better for sure. If you already don’t share that opinion just watch it again. You will see 100 more things you didn’t saw the first time. The impact frames etc, unbelievable. The sanji fight was more emotional , look wise i can’t see how anyone would say 1061>1062. And king is an amazing character btw

apparently the episode where the thing happens has been in production for over 7 months and is supposed to come out sometime in July. shits gonna be wicked!

Personally I’m a sanji fan. I thought in terms of animation and just the fight itself this one might win for most people alongside being more purely fight focused. but seeing the moment with Zeff and running to the straw hats made me nearly tear up, and sanji finally accepting himself and everything in him plus how incredible those bursts of animation were make me prefer 1061. Better fight in this but felt like more heart in sanjis ep

I did like 1062 more the animation was constant craziness as to where 1061 had those big burst like at the attacks and the final hit. I also do enjoy zoro more tho so its a bit bias.

I think for the thing that'll happen they'll do a two part episode (which they have done before in One Piece during WCI arc) and it'll be episode 1070 and 1071 they put together and come out in the same week
