I think Thomas is just doing a fast-forward pic for their relationship. He's done pics of how they first met, their trysts, meeting the parents (with Therie pregnant), and now with the baby. Apparently, Daniels deserted the military to be with her. So it's all jumping forward in time.

Things sure got real! Love it! It has the same kind of dramatic tension as some of the Biblical stories, such as the Flight to Egypt (Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus) or the part where Moses' mother sends him in a basket down the Nile. xD

Not sure if you're joking, so I'm going to answer seriously. A deserter is a soldier who decides to leave the military without permission. The implication here is that Daniels is the deserter.

Mmm ok if this is actually how things end for these two, or should I say tree then personally find it a bit of a bad ending. It's not really a sad end but still a downer in my opinion. Also if anything this makes Daniels a Theries story more interesting I think. I mean this looks more like the start of a epic story to me. Like the whole time travel idea, and that the baby is Flora
