I didn't even notice the arches in the background. Tom always goes all out on the backgrounds, even in the comic. It makes the wait each week totally worth it!

It's perfectly possible if you're flexible enough. Think about it this way, she lays face down and bends her knees, her feet are now facing bottoms toward the sky. She then brings her stomach off the ground, bending her back, with her knees still bent, eventually bringing her feet to rest on her head.

It's really nicely drawn...I want to draw like that. The lighting is incredible! Also, it figures for Flora to be that flexible-cats do have a great deal of it. Just watch one jumping out of a tree.
