What the tigress kept from Lleweth and Klarcs was the fact that females and cubs aren't strong enough to be warriors; therefore, by "allowing" them to sleep with the females the males are saying, "You aren't strong enough to be warriors, therefore, you sleep with the females." That said, I'd most definitely be insulted but, I'd live with it and accept the sleeping arrangements.

I would be a bit terrified to be honest. Also one of the tigers is literally starring at possibly the two explorers (since they’re not in the drawing) with eyes saying “one bad move and I’ll rip your insides out of you”.
