One of my neighbors have a cat who frequently comes over to hang out in my yard (he lives with a single mom and three young daughters- I can understand his need to escape!), but he doesn’t seem very well socialized. He’ll act shy at first, then growl and hiss at you as he approaches for pets and cuddles. He’ll then walk a couple feet away, hiss, then walk back for more, all while doing the cat-thing of stilt-walking and rubbing affectionately... Dude, get it straight already!

Sythe: “You know, the others don’t have to know we have a thing for each other going on.” Maren: “What Do You Mean?! We Don’t Have Anything Going…” Sythe: *Interrupts Maren with a kiss* Maren: *Contemplates scratching the hell out of him for show, but decides not to and joins in the kissing because no one is nearby* Three weeks later: Maren: *Feeling Nauseous, then realized her period was due two weeks ago* “You Got Me Pregnant!!!” Sythe: *passes out* A few months later: Roselyn and Flora: *Become Midwives for Maren* Sythe: *Passes out again* Roselyn: “You two have a girl and a boy. Congratulations. Oh, My! I may have to open a shape shifter school if this keeps up.”

One of my cats, Frankie, has never liked other cats, and frequently hisses at them. This morning, she headbutted the other one, Momma (not HER mom), then hissed at her a few seconds later when Momma moved. She wasn't even moving towards or looking at Frankie!
