Well, it all started like this." *Sound of VHS tape rewinding. Scene resumes on crying wolf pup.* "What the-!? No wait! That's too far back! Go forward!" *Sound of VHS fast-forwarding. Scene resumes on freeze frame of Sythe reaching towards Nibbs, who is glowing with Templar magic and half-transformed into Keidran form.* "There we go. That's me, Sythe! And that's my, uh... friend, Mrs. Nibbly. She's a-" *Smash cut to live-action squirrel with glowing eyes and ominous magical aura* "...Well, it's complicated. But this is our story. Thanks. The idea was that Sythe and Maren got together (let’s face it, they’ve got that love/hate relationship thing going on), and Nibbly stole the collar out of the lock box that it got put into, to give Sythe a three way dilemma. “Choose Her, Choose Me, or figure out a way to have both of us” type dilemma. My original train of thought included that M&S had broken down and, ahem, made love to each other, but I didn’t add that to my suggestion.
