Long ago and far away, in a wood forgotten by place and time, there lived a Wisp... and a Wanderer. The Wisp was a light born from blackness. A curse to make others lose their way, who found herself lost instead, and spent her every day feeling so very alone. The Wanderer was a fox spirit, flung far from home. One who hurt and yet sought only to bring healing. Yet still she wandered, feeling so very lost. And so the Wisp wandered and the Wanderer wished. Both lost, and alone, and filled with despair. Until one day, by sheer chance, Wisp and Wanderer met in that forgotten, forsaken wood. And suddenly, the Wanderer didn't feel so lost, and the Wisp didn't feel so lonely. ...And for the first time in a long time, they felt happy.
